Serving on the Board The NACM/Chicago-Midwest Board of Directors serve as representatives of the membership of the Association. The Board of Directors help make sure the organization fulfills its obligations to its members, the Association and business credit profession. Each year, the Association encourages members to nominate a colleague or themselves for a position on the Board. All incoming Board members will be announced at the NACM Midwest Annual Meeting on April 12, 2012. Download a nomination form or submit your recommendation online. Volunteering for a Committee As a member owned and directed trade association, NACM Midwest relies on the dedication and commitment of its members to ensure the vitality of the Association. Each year, we encourage members to volunteer for the following committees. To learn more about each committee, please click on the links below. Please Note: The deadline for all submissions January 31, 2012. The NACM Midwest Conference Committee assists the education department in identifying relevant and timely educational topics for the annual fall conference. The committee members assist in securing speakers, vendors and silent auction items to ensure the delivery of a state-of-the art, high relevant and timely conference to help the credit professional stay in the forefront of the latest events and changes in credit. Additionally, the Committee members are expected to work a minimum one day of the conference in positions to be determined as needed but including registration, room moderators, speaker liaisons, vendor liaisons, silent auction moderators and other duties as they arise. The NACM Midwest Education Committee assists the Education Department in identifying relevant and timely educational topics for the fiscal year’s schedule. The committee members assist in securing speakers for seminars and classes to ensure delivery of new and expanding educational experiences to help the credit professional stay in the forefront of the latest events and changes in Credit. In addition, the committee aids in the promotion of the training sequence towards professional designations and recertification. The NACM Connect Scholarship Committee is composed of dedicated volunteers who assist in the planning, coordination and implementation of fundraising activities in support of the Robert L. Vodraska Scholarship Fund. Additionally, each year Committee members will review applications for the Scholarship awards. |
